The campanario, often called a campanile or bell-holding facade at the Glenwood Mission Inn was much pictured on postcards. Here the drive up to the portal is shown, with a horsedrawn carriage just leaving. On the other side of the drive is an automobile. Behind the campanario is the Carillon Tower. Since the left panel on the back is reserved for return addresses and is small, the white space on the right side has been used for part of the message: "I've went by automobile the other day to Riverside. /8 miles from here & hundred at this hotel."
