The road through the large arch of the Campanario starts in the foreground, with the "Old Adobe" original hotel (1876) behind it and behind that the Carillon Tower. Since the left panel on the back is small and reserved for return addresses only, the right portion of this side leaves white space for a message. The publisher's number 3181 is printed to the left of the dividing line on the back of the postcard, along with the statement "Made in Germany."
