Sunrise Services, Easter Sunday, Mount Rubidoux, Riverside, California, 1915
[Curt Teich and Company, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois]
The summit of Mount Rubidoux is crowded with people and automobiles for the Easter Sunrise service at the Serra Cross, erected 1909. The description on the back reads: "Near Riverside, in the midst of the Orange Belt, east of Los Angeles, rises Mount Rubidoux, a famous landmark surmounted by a cross dedicated to Padre Junipero Serra, founder of the old Franciscan Missions. Riverside lies in the beautiful Santa Ana Valley, set about by mountains. The auto drive to the top of Mount Rubidoux should not be missed." Preceding the title in the upper white border is the publisher's number T-53. On the back at the top of the dividing line is the Teich number (A-58583) used to date the card.
