This black and white card is an advertisement for cottages for rent on the south side of Lake Elsinore, "at the foot of the Ortega Mountains." The cottages pictured are among trees said to be "orange and walnut," "a year-round play-ground." "Swimming and boating" were available, according to "operating owners" Simone and Al Harrison. A four-digit telephone number is given. On the right is a large, untrimmed fan palm tree. This is a Real Photo Post Card, although the divided back does not include a photographic-paper manufacturer in the stampbox. This silver process could be used with any negative taken to a photo shop.
