Glenwood Mission Inn, Riverside, California
Featured here is the Carmel Tower, part of the north façade of the Mission Inn located on the corner of Sixth and Orange Streets. It was inspired by Carmel Mission, and the buttresses by San Gabriel Mission, according to a descriptive paragraph on the back. The Tower is located in the Cloister wing, which was designed by the architect Arthur Benton and completed in 1910. Also on the back are the publisher's number 26677 and logo in the stampbox, as well as the Inn's logo the raincross. In general, cards with a white border like this one were manufactured from around 1915 to around 1930.
