As printed on the divided back of this postcard: "The Court with its luxuriant foliage, the low tiled Adobe, and the rustic ramadas are all reminiscent of the old Spanish days of manana. The old Adobe, made of sun baked mud bricks, was one of the first houses in the Riverside valley, and was the beginning of 'Glenwood Tavern' of the early days." The "old Adobe" was the original 1876 hotel, and visible beyond it is the Carillon Tower with an United States flag flying. Also on the back are the Inn's logo the raincross, the number 26661, and the contributor's logo in the stampbox.
