Carnegie Library, Riverside, California
This Mission style-building served as the library from its construction in 1903 to its demolition in 1964 after another library building had been opened. It sat at the northeast corner of Seventh and Orange Streets, designed by the firm of Burnham and Bleisner under the auspices of a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. The publisher's number 5479 is on the divided back of this German-made postcard. The likely dates of production are between 1907 and 1915.
