Stag Bar, Redondo Beach, California

The Stag Bar, pictured here in two views of exterior and interior, with its manager John Schindler, was on Pacific Avenue. In the exterior view, Schindler's name is prominently displayed over the door. On the divided back, the establishment is given the name "The Stag Buffet." The interior view takes up most of the card, with what looks to be a very long, highly polished wooden bar with brass spittoons attached to the rail in front. This bar is described as "post prohibition" by the Redondo Beach Historical Commission, meaning that the card could not have been produced before December of 1933 when Prohibition was repealed in the United States.
