Bath house casino and auditorium Redondo Beach, California
The "bath house" on the far left was the Redondo Beach Plunge, built in 1909. In the right foreground, with a few pedestrians in the street crossing the streetcar tracks, is the pavilion or auditorium housing shops, restaurants, and a ballroom. In between, the casino is the 16th century German-style building, designed and built by M. Mayer. It was remodeled in 1912 to become the Capitol Theatre at 127 South El Paseo. This is a sepia-tone card with the publisher's number 317 in the lower right corner.
