Theo. Sohmer, Los Angeles, California
The home of Adolphus Busch was called Ivy Wall because ivy covered so much of the house, including the dormer windows and chimneys, as can be seen here. The Busch mansion on Millionaire's Row backed onto Arroyo Seco, on the east bank of which Busch and Robert Gorden Fraser created the Busch gardens. The Teich number at the top center of the divided back is A-74763, from which the date was derived.
