Paths and a terraced lawn are dotted with flower beds, trees, and shrubbery. The gardens of Adolphus Busch behind his home near the east bank of Arroyo Seco seasonal channel set the style for terraced landscaping in areas that had been denuded as wood lots. They were designed by landscaper Robert Gordon Fraser. The publisher's number13576 precedes the title in the lower left corner.
