Interior of Burdette's residence, Pasadena
This is a richly furnished room, with a fireplace, a mantelpiece full of objects and pictures, a small table and some chairs that look hand-carved and upholstered with velvet. The Burdettes lived on "Millionaire's Row" in Pasadena, an area around South Orange Boulevard in which wealthy families built homes. This residence was also known as "Sunnyside" or "Sunnycrest," demolished in 1926. The publisher's number on the divided back of this German-made card is 4527, and another number in the right corner in parentheses is 52844.
