A flower-framed driveway leads up to a large house (1902), with a smaller one on the left behind an evergreen tree. This property on the east rim of the Arroyo Seco was purchased in 1905 by Princess Engalitcheff (called the Utah "Silver Queen"), who had inherited the Silver King Mine from her first husband A. B. Emery. She shared it with her second husband Edwin F. Holmes. Extensive remodeling turned the building on the right into an English Tudor mansion by 1922.
