The publisher's number 1019 precedes the title near the upper left corner. In the right margin is printed "From Kodachrome," referring to a type of photographic processing. This is a "linen" postcard, in which a sort of cross-hatching gives the appearance of a weave in the paper. Like many such postcards it is framed in a gold color. Here one sees the City Hall from the left front corner of its courtyard. One turret is visible behind the central Renaissance-style building with a dome and cupola that was designed by John Bakewell and Arthur Brown and completed in 1927.
