PC-002-010
Christian Science Church, Pasadena, California
A temple in Neo-classical architectural style built in 1909 stands alone, its central dome nearly touching the top of the picture. Construction started in 1907, so the San Francisco earthquake was taken into consideration by architect Franklin P. Burnham in a design utilizing reinforced concrete. Except for color and cropping, this looks exactly the same as the image in PC-002-009. The divided back dates this card from 1907 or later, and the publisher ceased operations in 1910.
