This photograph was taken just to the left of PC-001-964 and PC-001-966, which show a stone monument with a plaque just out of frame on the right. The view looks straight north on Santa Rosa Avenue toward the San Gabriel Mountains. This mile-long stretch is known as "Christmas Tree Lane" from the custom of lighting these deodar trees every year since 1920. Although the title on the back reads "Pasadena Cal" the location of the photograph is just across the border with Altadena.
