Hotel Huntington, Pasadena, California
Parker, Harold A.
This original central building, finished by Henry Huntington and opened in 1914 under his name, was mostly demolished in 1988 after closing in 1987 due to new earthquake regulations. The structure, retaining the historic ballrooms and the outlying "bungalows" on both sides, was restored and the hotel reopened in 1991. After further sales, the hotel became the Langham Huntington, under which name it celebrated its centennial in 2014. The publisher's number on the divided back of this untraveled card is 6889, and their logo is in the stampbox. The divided back places publication in 1907 or after.
