Although Cawston's Ostrich Farm raised birds to sell their feathers, they also had a tourist business partially promoted through streetcar lines that ran to the farm. Ostriches pulled carts and carriages, and there were tours, clothing, and souvenirs for sale. The pyramids in the distance are on the paddock fence. On the divided back is the Curt Teich logo and the number A-81429, indicating the date given.
