Trolleys and horse-drawn vehicles travel along Spring Street from the foreground to the top of the card. The post office (1910) referenced in the title is the pinkish building with a white base seen jutting out into the street on the left toward the end of the visible buildings. "Los Angeles" has been handwritten onto the card in ink just below the title. The publisher's number on the divided back is A 194. The slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" on the back indicates that this may have been part of a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific.
