Cemetary at Camulos, Ramona's Old Home
Cemetery at Camulos, Ramona's Old Home
A woman bows before a large cross in a cemetery. A pergola is behind the cross with steps going up to it, and the area is fenced, with crosses in the ground. No publisher is identified, but the card has a circular stamp on the back that states that it is "From Ramona's Marriage Place," a popular tourist attraction in San Diego at another site associated with the novel Ramona by Helen Hunt Jackson. The Rancho Camulos in Piru was believed to be the site on which the fictional Ramona's home was based. The card has a divided back and was therefore printed in or after 1907.
