The Church of the Angels is actually in Pasadena, not Los Angeles as on the postcard. The oldest church in Pasadena, it was designed by architects Sir Edmund Street and Ernest Coxhead, and built in 1889 in what was then the town of Garvanza, later annexed by Pasadena and called Highland Park.
