Huntington Building, Pacific Electric Depot, Los Angeles, California
Printing: Neuner Printing & Lithograph Co., Los Angeles, California
This depot was at Sixth and Main Streets. The Pacific Electric Red Cars were taken out of service in 1961 and scrapped. Four counties were serviced at the peak of operation, on over 1,000 miles of track that was torn out starting in 1948. The building (1905) was named for Henry E. Huntington, then owner of the Pacific Electric Railway, and was renovated to become Pacific Electric Lofts. On the back, the logo for the Benham Company has an "I" and "T" missing from later logos without "Indian Trading" in the name. The divided back and "Indian Trading" part of the Benham name indicate that the card was produced between 1907 and 1914.
