The Pershing Square Fountain is in the foreground of this card, with the Biltmore on South Grand Avenue facing the park. Opened in 1923, it was later known as the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. The hotel was designed by the architectural firm Schultze & Weaver and was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1969.
