The description on both front and back continues, "This favourite hotel is located centrally on the corner of Fourth and Springs Streets. Rates $1.50 and up." This seven-story building dominates a corner traversed by pedestrians, vintage automobiles, and a trolley (streetcar or lightrail). The hotel was open from 1901 to 1956, when it was demolished.
