The edges of an illustration of a hotel dining room are blurred and irregular in white margins with the title in red at the bottom right. Round tables with white tablecloths and red chairs wait under a coffered ceiling, Greek Columns, and gold light fixtures with gold trim on the ceiling, walls, and columns. The Van Nuys Hotel was in downtown Los Angeles, designed in 1895 by Octavius Morgan and J. A. Walls, and later renamed the Barclay.
