Winter scene at Westlake Park, Los Angeles, California
The VanOrnum Colorprint Co., Los Angeles, California
A child stands beside a path on a stretch of lawn looking at a flower bed, with the lake and trees behind her. Westlake Park became MacArthur Park and was designated City of Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument Number 100. The publisher's number on the divided back is A 11. The slogan on the back, "On the Road Of A Thousand Wonders" suggests that this card was part of a promotion for the Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The contributor opened for business in 1908.
