People are strolling around a fountain ringed with rocks, with the boathouse seen through trees on the left. Westlake Park became MacArthur Park and was designated City of Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument Number 100. The publisher's number on the divided back is 4417. Another number upside down in the stampbox is 57682. A short description on the back says the "beautiful park is situated at 7th and Alvarado Streets and consists of 35 acres, 10 of which cover the lake. Concerts are given every Sunday afternoon." This card was made in Germany.
