This high school was the second in Los Angeles, a commercial branch of Los Angeles High school started in 1897, moved into this building in 1905 at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Flower Street. The publisher's number on the divided back is A 93. The slogan on the back, "On the Road Of A Thousand Wonders" indicates that this card was part of a promotion for the Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
