C. T. Photochrom, Chicago, Illinois [Curt Teich]
The bathhouse was right on the beach, which is seen here on the right. The boardwalk itself is in the middle of the picture, but crowds are surging past attractions below the boardwalk on a pedestrian mall. The building with twin towers and green roof on the horizon at right is the old municipal auditorium built in 1905 and demolished for the new auditorium built in 1932. The white building on the left is the State Theatre. The creator's number at the top on the back is A-85856, and the publisher's number on the back is L-40.
