The photograph for this Real Photo Post Card was taken along Long Beach's amusement zone walkway, "The Pike." Identified on signs are the Majestic Ballroom and M. D. Lipton, Inc. (jewelry). There is also the Strand motion picture theater that advertises "Vodvil" as well as the films "It's a Date" and "Double Alibi" (released 1940). Crowds are surging along the pedestrial mall and attractions are on both sides of the street. This card is hand-numbered B9801.
