[Curt Teich & Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois]
Theo Sohmer, Los Angeles, California
The name of the city's first park (1880), Pacific Park was changed to Lincoln Park in 1920. The Carnegie Library that opened in 1909 is at the top of the postcard, the only building visible inside the park. People walk on pathways; there are lawns and flower beds and trees. Vintage automobiles travel on the roads flanking the corner of the park visible. The upper left shows a portion of the city. The Curt Teich number on the back is A-59583, and the publisher's number in front of the title at the left top of the card is 2517.
