There is no printed title on this postcard, but the sender has written the place in red ink on the picture side, as well as identified the building on the left as the "Santa Fe Station." No attribution appears either, although the stampbox might have held a publisher's name or logo. More then four Santa Fe railroad cars are on tracks between the station and the park. Mountains as well as trees are visible behind the station. This looks like a Real Photo Post Card (silver process) but is most likely a collotype or gelatin printing process. Victorville was the first stop south on the California Southern Railroad through the Cajon Pass from Barstow to National City.
