Residence of Bing Crosby, North Hollywood, California
Photographic paper: EKC
This southern colonial house in the Toluca Lake section of Los Angeles (in 2014 just south of North Hollywood) was home to singer Bing Crosby and his family from 1936 to 1943, when the Crosbys moved to Beverlly Hills. This is a Real Photo Post Card (RPPC) made with EKC photo paper (as evidenced in the stampbox on the back of this card). The Real Photo process allowed photographers to take a "snap shot" and have it finished at a photo shop that printed it out on postcard backing for mailing. This EKC photo paper was made from 1930-1950. The publisher's number on the bottom right is X-47.
