"Dextone," described on the divided back of this postcard as the photographic process used to create it, was an early photochrome by Dexter Press, which moved to Pearl River in 1928 and to West Nyack, New York, in 1952. The publisher's number on the back is 63023, and the phrase "Photo-Color by Miller" appears with the descriptive material. The Desert Hot Springs Inn was at 1st and Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs, California.
