A short description on the divided back of this card claims that "Two bales of long staple to the acre is attainable" in the Imperial Valley, "acknowledged the best in the United States." A woman in fashionable clothing, a hat with a veil, and gloves is walking among mature cotton bolls on a plantation. There is no attribution to a publisher, a number on the back of the card at the bottom of the dividing line, is typical of Curt Teich's publication years. According to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives and records in this database, A-42334 refers to postcards made in 1913.
