Jones, Harry E.
"I trust," Jones writes, "that this will find [John Adams] much improved." He says, "I have found that the GI dream of returning to an unchanged world becomes almost an obsession as one remains in the service." He comments on the election just past, particularly on the elephant as a symbol for the Republican Party. He is up at 5 and asleep at 11, sleeping on weekends.
