Gentlemen:- Your favor of the 26th inst., is received. I am glad to learn that the meat will be kept frozen. It is, we cannot use your meat if we have to pay expressage on it. It is to our interest to use local meat, but if we can get your meat at car load rates, we would use it earlier, and if we could keep it we have the facilities here for freezing it without expense, would not have to pay for it much in advance of the time when we actually use it. The point is just this, if we do not buy a car load we will not use your meat until the house fills, say sixty days hence, but if we do buy a car load will use it at once but do not wish to pay for it for sixty days after shipment [unknown] will not use it much before that [unknown].

Dear Sir:
Please accept my sincere thanks for your prompt action in forwarding me the permission requested. Was hunting down there yesterday, and got 100 birds.

The next time you come down call on me for what the newspaper editor, Smith, calls a J.D.S.

Yours truly,
