Mr E. C. Dyer,
It would be well for you to investigate the milk question and see whether we can purchase milk any cheaper than we are now doing. Mr Olds milk dealer San Diego who is a reliable man offered me milk some months ago at 50 cents a can, of about three gallons, but Mr Douthett the man who is now furnishing us milk at present furnishes us good milk, and he had some sort of understanding with Mr Cook that the prices would not be [unknown] affected by any outside competition. I think now however that time enough has elapsed for me to consider whether he wants to furnish milk at what we can get it from other reliable dealers.
