Hugh Magee Esq,
Los Flores. Via Wells Fargo Express.

Dear Sir,
Your note of the 19th is received. We can take 35 rolls of butter every other day and would like to receive it in your regular size boxes; we do not want to set a price on your butter however, that is your right; but where you will find a regular customer like our hotel, the year round, and your trouble end when you deliver it to the express company, you cannot refuse to make a special rate, you know what butter is selling for in the market, name us a rate by the year, and if we think [unknown] we will accept it.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
