Dear Sir:- Our engineer Barnsdale thinks that we can save a good deal of fuel by putting an auxiliary boiler in the basement under the kitchen and heat the water the kitchen uses for cooking its vegetables warming its dishes and keeping the meat hot and save the great waste of steam in pipes going through the tunnel and returning to the large boiler.
We have [unknown] boilers, but I am not certain that it will be economy and write to you for your advice.
