the house account; we dropped down on Thursday to 107 but have now nearly 300, probably Tuesday next will have about 100.
I will see that no more rooms are engaged in corner suite and reserve it for you.
I have been very much pleased with the development going on in the back country, we are undoubtedly on the upgrade [unknown] three years ago. It was apparently a desert in and around the San Jacinto Valley, I found over two hundred thousand acres in barley and wheat.
I enclose you copy of a letter from A. A. Hayes dated London April 19th, which only just reached me, he cabled on the 30th April, ' I can arrange the business selling steadily' so that putting the two together, it looks as if we had sold or would sell our Coronado Water Bonds, which will take care of everything except the Rail-road loan.
